The music is excellent, and you get to choose between the original score or more modern remixes. I always feel music can lend weight to a story or scene by expressing more emotion than visuals alone can convey, and the Persona series has always nailed this with their music.
Once you get past the nostalgia of playing a long lost Persona game from the '90s, you're left with a sense of emptiness. The story overall feels hollow, and while the characters do have their finer points, they come full of nuisances as well.
Many people will enjoy this game for exactly what it is: a JRPG classic with aesthetic upgrades. A few extra side stories help deliver something new to fans who imported the game years ago, but to modern RPG fans, Innocent Sin will seem boring and dull at best.
Pete Luisi-Mills, who has spent the last couple of year developing global friendships via the Peace Corps, says, “Often the hardest part of seeking forgiveness is not admitting that we’ve done wrong; it’s the attendant embarrassment of vocalizing our sin before another human being.
Beyond our struggle with admitting our sin and confessing it to the one we’ve hurt, why do we sin against each other in the first place? Judy Johnson, director of staff assessment and training with InterVarsity, suggests that we look deeper. “The sin we commit may be the tip of the iceberg. It helps to look deeper than the action or thought.
When you do confess, don’t overdo the detail, and try to avoid being over-dramatic. “Don’t be an exhibitionist in your confession,” says Valerie. “Be straightforward and simple: ‘The Lord has been convicting me to confess something to you. Would you forgive me for ———?’ They may or may not forgive you, but you can’t control that.
When I do something wrong, without first being consciously aware that I am being tempted to sin, it is what the Bible calls a “ deed of the body.” (Romans 8:13) Everyone has lusts in the flesh, and sometimes they come out without me even being aware that they are going to. This is not the same as committing sin.
Then I need to move on, and not allow Satan to hold it over me and create a bad conscience. Discouragement is never an option. No matter where life takes you, big cities or small towns, you will inevitably come across others who think they know what’s best for you – people who think they’re better than you – people who think happiness, success and beauty mean the same things to everyone.
In every situation you have ever been in, positive or negative, the one common thread is you. It is your responsibility, and yours alone, to recognize that regardless of what has happened up to this point in your life, you are capable of making choices to change your situation, or to change the way you think about it. Don’t let the opinions of others interfere with this prevailing reality.

Look at me!” But the truth is, all your happiness and growth occurs while you’re climbing, not while you’re sitting at the top. Enjoy the journey by paying attention to each step. You have to take the steps that are right for you; no one else walks in your shoes. Let others take you as you are, or not at all. Speak your truth even if your voice shakes.
