Today, the course is gone. It was one of the most-played Super Expert levels in the game, as evidenced by the fact that most prominent Mario Maker 2 players have promoted it. The reason cited, according to Nintendo, is “harmful or inappropriate content,” which does not track with the actual material in the upload.
With Super Mario Maker's servers being completely shut down on 31st March (the original Wii U game, that is, not Super Mario Maker 2 on Switch), one indie developer has decided to give it a mighty send-off.
Tap or click on Uploaded Courses... 4. Here you'll see a list of the creations you've uploaded to Nintendo's servers - tapping on them will reveal the blessed Course ID ready to share with you nearest and dearest (and, indeed, farthest).
Once you upload a level, it gets marked as uploaded (with a small up arrow icon in the level selection menu), and cannot be reuploaded unless you delete the uploaded level from course world.

How to Download. In order to download a level once you've found it, simply select it and it will expand a bit. At the bottom of this area a Download button will appear. Simply press this button and you'll be taken to the download storage screen.
Just head to the main Course World screen, select the Search with ID tab towards the upper right of the screen, and type in their code. You can even follow Makers that you like by selecting their name and tapping on the star in the upper right corner.
Footprints are indeed the number of times that someone has played your level EDIT: the number of unique players, apparently. If you know that you have plays that aren't showing up, I would try quitting out of the game and reloading it to force the stats to refresh.
There are a total of 90 levels that are offered to players by Toad. The majority will be one to two stars of difficulty, however, there are a nice handful of three to four star levels sprinkled in there along the way. In addition to the “main levels,” there are also some side levels that you can complete along the way.
The Story Mode is Super Mario Maker 2's single-player campaign. You'll be asked to help rebuild Princess Peach's Castle. You'll be assigned jobs to earn coins for the castle's reconstruction. Jobs will require you to play and complete levels.
