It's important that we remove levels with bugs quickly, because letting these levels remain in Course World can lead to negative outcomes for many players such as players experiencing levels in unfair ways that the original course creator did not intend, or re-writing World Record times.
With Super Mario Maker's servers being completely shut down on 31st March (the original Wii U game, that is, not Super Mario Maker 2 on Switch), one indie developer has decided to give it a mighty send-off.
Today, the course is gone. It was one of the most-played Super Expert levels in the game, as evidenced by the fact that most prominent Mario Maker 2 players have promoted it. The reason cited, according to Nintendo, is “harmful or inappropriate content,” which does not track with the actual material in the upload.
When in the Course World menu just press the Y Button to access your profile. From there you will tab over to uploaded courses and then select the course you want to get the ID for. Once you select the course you will see the course ID near the bottom right of the level card on the screen.

Nintendo Is Shutting Down Servers For The Original Super Mario Maker In March 2021. Nintendo has announced that severs for the original Super Mario Maker will be shutting down on March 31, 2021.

If you have their Course ID or Maker ID, you can also search for them. Just head to the main Course World screen, select the Search with ID tab towards the upper right of the screen, and type in their code.
To play shared courses in Super Mario Maker 2, launch the game and head into Course World. This can be done from the game's title screen by selecting Play, then selecting Course World. In other modes, press the + button, then choose Course World.
