Feb 12, 2022 · The Alimah Program is principally designed for students who wish to acquire in-depth knowledge of Islamic sciences. The program covers the traditional curriculum, Dars-e-Nizami of the ‘Alimahcourse’.
The Alim course is a multi-disciplinary multi-faceted course in the Islamic Sciences designed to develop in a student all of the knowledge, skills, and spiritual development necessary to understand the letter and spirit of Islam, to practice and embody it and to lead the community by excellent example.
The courses are taught by qualified Ulamā and Ālimāt. This part time course is based on a classical curriculum and is designed to help beginners progress from an elementary stage to a very advanced level in Arabic and Islamic Studies.
To become a full-time Alimah, you may join a course in your locality, or Online from a reputable institution. For advanced studies, refer to an Alimah course with Arabic grammar and intensive studies of Quran, Hadith and Fiqh. Search for a good Darul-Uloom institution for Alimah studies program near your town.
The syllabus also covers the study of Nahwa, Sarf, Seerah, Tajweed, Urdu Grammar, History and Islamic beliefs. This develops in later years to the study of Tafseer, Usool, Adaab, Fiqh, Quranic exegesis and Hadith studies.

The Mubaligha course is an add-on-course offered to the students joining the College from the First year. It is a part time three –year course offered for the students residing especially in the Hostel and the day scholar off the regular class hours. The Open Day is an excellent opportunity for prospective students to view course material, the facilities available at Quwwatul Islam and to meet Quwwatul Islam staff members and students.
Minimum entry age for the course is 14. No detailed knowledge of the Arabic language is necessary. However, students should at least be able to recognise and read the Arabic script of the Qurān, even if it be slowly or without comprehension.
