If a course does not appear on your dashboard it could mean a couple of things. One of the most common is that the course is still unpublished. You might try contacting your instructor or the Canvas Administrator/IT department at your institution to see if the course isn't published yet.

Here's how:Click on Courses in the left navigation. Make sure you have logged into Canvas properly before you become concerned about your courses. You will see your Canvas dashboard with course cards displaying on the dashboard if you have successfully logged in to Canvas.
Students will have access to their courses on the scheduled first day of the course. Courses will not be accessible before that.
If you just recently registered or added a course, please allow at least four hours for the course to show up in your Canvas account. The time it takes from when you register to the time it will show up in Canvas is not immediate.
