First and foremost, Samurai Jack is an action series. It relies on impressive battles and fighting even though it uses humor to keep the audience's attention. And yet, the show's action is largely underrated. All the action sequences are brilliantly choreographed with the animation style enhancing their impact.
Jack finally kills Aku and destroys his tower, and Ashi feels Aku's essence leave her. Jack and Ashi prepare to get married, but as Ashi walks the aisle, she suddenly collapses and fades away, informing Jack with her last breath that Aku's demise invalidates her existence.
Most cartoon shows of its era waited at least a season or two before doing their first no dialogue episode. Samurai Jack barely has any dialogue to begin with, and in its second stand-alone episode it goes even further — an episode whose climactic battle completely lacks any sound.

Aku-Aku are spirits of the dead, but they are not immortal and can be disposed of. They can be of either sex, and different Aku-Aku are associated with particular areas of the Easter Island. Some of the Aku-Aku are deified.
Aku was Evil Incarnate; he embodied the very essence of an evil overlord. Cruel and domineering to all that he met, it was obey or be obliterated with Aku. Arrogant, temperamental, callous, and sadistic by default, Aku ruled the Earth for thousands of years and did not take kindly to disobedience.
Aku is the female protagonist of the series Maou-sama, Retry!.
The samurai prince arrives on Earth surrounded in dystopian retrofuturism ruled by Aku. The first people he encounters call him "Jack" as a form of slang, which he adopts as his name. His given name is never mentioned.
However, he's not immortal and is still susceptible to death via starvation, cold, or physical injury. Also, Jack still vulnerable to pain or injuries, and can be killed in the same manner as any normal human would. This longevity doesn't apply to his metabolism thus he still requires food, water, and rest.
Ashi is a 18-year-old teenage girl, who she and all the Daughters of Aku shared the same appearance.
