Jun 20, 2018 · @franwess I updated to WP 5.0 the other day and am now having the same issue where the user (or admin) is unable to view LearnDash courses from the ‘Courses’ tab. We use Boss child theme, and I activated WP Twenty Seventeen to see if it was a theme issue, which it ended up being as I could view the Courses from the Twenty Seventeen theme.

Select the Courses sub-menu from the main LearnDash menu in the WordPress Admin Dashboard. This displays the list of courses you have already created.
If you aren't sure what the course builder is and to check to see if it's already active first create or edit an existing course.

Enable the Course Builder Interface for all courses. This adds a drag and drop course, lesson and topic builder to every course.
Now when you edit any course you'll also see the LearnDash Course Builder Interface
Clicking on the sandwich menu next to each lesson, topic, quiz or assignment provides you the option to move, edit, view or delete single lessons, topics, quizzes and assignments.
The LearnDash quiz builder provides a quick, intuitive way to add, edit, move & delete all the questions in your quiz. This article explains how to use every aspect of the quiz builder to make creating quizzes & managing questions a breeze.
To add a brand new question to a quiz: At the bottom of the quiz builder, click the + New Question link. Type the name of your question (internal use only) Hit ENTER, or click the “Add Question” button.
All of your existing questions can be found in the “Questions” box in the sidebar. By default, your most recent questions are shown, but you can click “View all” to see all questions, or use the search box to find a specific question by its title.
Editing answers in the quiz builder will depend on the question type. Different types have different options. As soon as you select the question type, your answer options will update below.
There are multiple ways to add existing questions. Add a single question: Hover over a question in the question box and click the “Add” button. This will add the question to the end of your quiz. Add multiple questions: Select the checkbox next to multiple questions, and then click the “Add Selected” button.
Immediately before each question, you’ll find an icon with 6 dots. When you hover over this icon, your cursor will turn into a hand. This means you can click, hold down, and drag the question to another place within your quiz.
The next step after setting up LearnDash is to create a course in the LMS. Creating a course, lesson or topic is the same as creating a post or a page.
You can install LearnDash like any other WordPress plugin. All you need to do is buy to buy a plugin from the LearnDash site. Once purchased, download the LearnDash plugin and then install it to your WordPress site.
Cloning lessons is a bit easier. You’ll still want to make sure you go into all cloned lessons, associate them to a new course, and adjust any settings (if needed).
There are 3 plugins that offer the ability to clone LearnDash content, and each one provides a different set of features. One plugin can do it all, but it’s not free. The other 2 options are free, but each have some drawbacks. I’ll evaluate the options & help you choose the best one for your situation.
Cloning courses is a little more challenging than you may think. While there are several free content cloning and duplication plugins for WordPress, they won’t work for LearnDash courses because of the lesson, topic & quiz associations that courses have. You can use either of these plugins to clone courses.
