Registration Period III opens at midnight. You may change to or from the audit grade option through the last day of the second week of the quarter by completing the Audit Grading section of the Registration Transaction Form and submitting it to the Office of the University Registrar via email to [email protected].
If you intend to audit a course must first register using MyUW, and then inform the Office of the Registrar to elect the audit grade option by completing a Registration Transaction Form.You may select the audit option through end of the second week of the quarter.Enrollment in courses as an auditor is by consent of the instructor involved and is conditioned on space availability.
Access Program for Older Adults. UW Tacoma allows Washington residents 60 years of age or older to audit certain courses on a space available basis. Registration for Access students begins the third day of the quarter. Students who attend the University under the Access program are limited to two courses per quarter.

We offer several ways to register. Note that if you have any financial aid or third-party paperwork, you cannot register by phone; you must register by fax, mail or email. Be sure to submit the paperwork along with your registration form.
After you register, you’ll be emailed a registration confirmation called a transaction summary, which serves as a receipt for payment and provides refund dates.
Phone registration hours are Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Full payment — or a purchase order or letter authorizing payment by a third party — is due at the time of registration. You are not officially registered and cannot begin your course until payment is received. Late payments may be assessed a late fee.
Starting autumn quarter 2021, all UW Professional & Continuing Education students, including fully online students, must be vaccinated against COVID-19 or declare an exemption. You can verify your vaccination status or claim an exemption through a secure vaccination attestation form.
To register by mail: Complete the registration form. Write a check or money order out to the University of Washington and in the amount of all fees due or complete the credit card section of the form. Payment by a third-party organization is also possible.
The deadline for second-semester courses is March 2 , 2021. There are no deadline extensions, and late registrations are not accepted.

Important messages from the University are sent to your UW email address: UWNetID @uw.edu or UWNetID @u.washington.edu (where UWNetID is your actual UW NetID). You can keep your UW email address after you graduate or no longer attend UW.
Your department or business unit may standardize on either UW Exchange Online or UW Gmail. Contact your local IT support organization before choosing a UW email service.
Future semester/term registration for currently enrolled undergraduate degree-seeking students is based on the number of credits earned. Students with the most credits earned are assigned the earliest registration appointments. See Important Dates and Deadlines for when registration begins and refer to your WINGS Student Center for your assigned time.
Students who are not seeking to earn a degree (i.e. taking a class to transfer back to another school; auditing only; taking a single class for personal interest) are considered "special non-degree students.". Special non-degree students must apply online and be admitted before they can register.
