Jerry Rich is the owner, president, and designer of Rich Harvest Farms, the site of the 2017 Division I Women's (May 19-24) and Men's (May 26-31) Golf Championships. Rich, who made a living by designing an integrated computer system for Wall Street traders, always dreamed of creating his own course.
Since the club has only about 60 members, several of whom are well-known professional athletes, this was going to be a tough nut to crack. As luck would have it, the same individual who graciously invited me to join him at Shinnecock would invite me to join him for a game at Rich Harvest as well.
