The 18-hole "Ponkapoag 2" course at the Ponkapoag Golf Course facility in Canton, Massachusetts features 6,195 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 71. The course rating is 70.3 and it has a slope rating of 116 on Blue grass. Designed by William F. Mitchell, ASGCA, the Ponkapoag 2 golf course opened in 1955.
The layout is really great and the course has so much potential, but lack of maintenance leaves to course in very poor condition. Rumor has it that the new course super is in the process of getting funds to restore the course, so time will tell.
