I have the opportunity to play Torrey Pines in the coming weeks. I can play the north course for half the price as the south. Both are at the same time (early afternoon so not even sure if we would get the full 18 in.)

The North is enjoyable, but it's just not the same as the South. I play both pretty regularly being a San Diego Local, I choose the South most of the time. The North is much easier. South is even better if you play before the tournament with all the stands up.
