I too have played over 200 top courses from hawaii, california, south carolina, to Scotland and Boston GC is among the greatest of them all. It is a unique design, it is a pure golfers club. Consider it a modern day throwback to design. The only hang up to the course is that the greens in some places are too severe at high speeds. Otherwise it is masterpiece!
Boston Golf Club is a course you have to decide for yourself whether or not it is the best, most interesting course in Massachusetts. It is a very low key cub with an artisan character to it from the course to the clubhouse to the attitude that Golf is what matters.
