With two golf courses there is always an opportunity to play! Silverado Country Club is home to the North Course and the South Course. Our North Course hosts the PGA Tour’s Safeway Open and is ranked in the Top 150 Resort Courses by Golfweek Magazine.
Silverado resort is a great spot. The North course is fair and challenging track. Conditions were great despite being just a week after PGA Tour event clean-up staff is friendly and great amenities on property and in surrounding area. What can I say that I haven't already in the other five-star reviews I've given Silverado?
At Silverado safety is of the utmost importance, so we have the following guidelines in place at this time. No rakes in bunkers. Smooth with feet or own rake All members and guests shall be properly attired at all times on the golf course. All players must wear golf shoes and socks. The large athletic cleat is unacceptable.
With no pins due to county "social distancing" mandates and thick rough because of a smaller than normal staff, Silverado's tricky North course played even tougher than ever ... and I enjoyed every minute. For such a classic design, the North seems to play harder than it looks.
The easiest holes on the course are three of the four Par-5 holes so it's imperative to take advantage of them. Fairways aren't easy to find this week as Silverado annually ranks in the top 10 on TOUR of most difficult to find.
Silverado's green fees top out at $189 for the North Course and $139 for the South Course (except when the price increases to $179 in October around the Safeway Open).
