Santa Clara University

Sophomore: I am a rising sophomore at Santa Clara University, and my experience thus far has been amazing to say the least. Coming into a four year university as a Latinx first-generation student was nerve-wracking at first; I wasn't sure how well I would adapt to a new environment.

Saint Mary's College of California

Alum: I had an amazing experience at Saint Mary's! The campus is beautiful and extremely quiet, I loved that I was able to experience the hustle and bustle of the Bay Area and then return to our gorgeous campus tucked away in the hills. I always felt safe on campus and included and part of the community.

Mills College

Junior: As a transfer student, it can be difficult to adjust and settle in. Besides the acclimation period, I've enjoyed the professors' passionate lectures and the many academic resources. The school's culture can feel isolating at times, so you really have to put yourself out there to make connections.

Dominican University of California

Notre Dame de Namur University

Senior: Great university if you love small and intimate class sizes. The university is a catholic university but as well a commuter school which means many of the students are commuters. The university does a lot of community work which is really amazing helping and giving back to the community.

Is AAU a good school?

Junior: AAU is a wonderful school that prioritizes accessible information and accepts all applicants for the chance to learn a great foundation and education, which I find is great. Information is widespread, but AAU offers some of the best industry-standard educations and modern technology available on the market. All of my interactions so far have been insightful and wonderful. The only complaint I have is their lack of options for acceptable private student loans. Due to the limitation, it can cause difficulty obtaining the financial assistance needed to attend the school.
