  • Go to WebAdvisor after creating a WebAdvisor account.
  • Click on Students.
  • Click on Log In.
  • Enter your User ID and Password.
  • Go to the Registration section on the left side.
  • Click on Register for Sections.
  • Click on Express Registration if you already know the exact classes you want to take, OR search for classes before registering.
  • Enter the synonym in the first column on the left and the term in the last column on the right. Then click Submit.
  • Choose Register from the Action drop-down box in the first column on the left (other possible actions are Remove from List or Waitlist). Then click Submit.

When should I register to a course on WebAdvisor?

If you are starting in the Fall Term, you can set up everything beforehand on WebAdvisor, so that on your assigned registration date/time, it’s just a matter of completing the last step. If you are starting for the first time in the Winter Term, you can just go ahead and register as soon as the courses for the Term are available on WebAdvisor.

How do I log in to WebAdvisor?

Logging in to WebAdvisor is quick and easy once you have your User ID and Password. Click on the “Log in” button in the upper right-hand corner of the welcome screen. Type your central login user ID into the “Central Login ID” field. Type your central login password into the “Central Login Password” field.

What do I do if I cannot register on WebAdvisor?

If you are constantly asked to log in each time you attempt to navigate through WebAdvisor and cannot register, you will need to delete your temporary internet files (clear your cache) and delete your cookies. To do this click on the "Tools" option in your internet browser menu.

Why does WebAdvisor keep logging me out after I finish using?

This is done for security reasons, in case you accidentally forget to log out when you finish using WebAdvisor but leave your web browser open, and to free up space for other users to log in to WebAdvisor. All you need to do is log in again when prompted to do so.

Why can't I log in to WebAdvisor?

Invalid password. If you are receiving the error message "You entered an invalid password. Please try again," first check to make sure you have entered your password correctly. If you have lost or forgotten your Central Login password, go to the Computing & Communications Services website.
