The project site is located southwest of the intersection of East 192nd Street and Avalon Boulevard, within the Victoria Park Golf Course facility (Figure 1). The project site comprises approximately 178 acres of land that has been developed for a golf course facility since the 1960’s and is currently still in operation. The project site is bounded by roads and residential developments to the north and east, the Dominguez Channel to the south and southwest, and the Goodyear Blimp facility to the west. Land uses within the project vicinity include residential areas, commercial and industrial development, parks and recreation facilities, and a university. Onsite land uses are open to the public for the purpose of recreation.
