Tiger Woods has displayed an affinity for short courses in the early stages of his design career, with projects including The Hay at Pebble Beach and the Oasis Short Course at Diamante (Cabo San Lucas, Mexico), both par-3 layouts. The 82-time PGA TOUR winner has embraced golf’s early access points, and continues to do so.
We believe he sometimes goes and plays at Tustin Ranch Golf Club in California because his mother Kutilda lives pretty much next door to the course. Tiger lives in Jupiter, Florida like many other golfers and his course is Medalist Golf Club along with several other pros.

However, despite being a 5-time champion at the Masters, Tiger Woods doesn't have a membership at the Augusta. The other option for Charlie to play at the Augusta would be to become a volunteer.

Even though Tiger Woods hasn't retired from professional golf, that hasn't stopped him from designing the golf courses. And he has designed around ten golf courses so far, including his own practice facility in the backyard.
If truth be told though Tiger may not need to be a member of anywhere given the golfing setup he has at his house. Tiger has a 3.5 acre plot of land which has four greens with different contours, turfs, grass lengths and several bunkers. On a blog post in 2011 his website he said;
Tiger grew up in Orange County, California, and because his father Earl was a member of the military he could play at the Navy course near the base in Los Alamitos. At a young age he also played several municipals in the area, like El Dorado Park, and a par-3 course called Heartwell Golf Course.
It was on the 91-yard 3rd hole that Tiger made his first ever birdie. He was four months shy of his fifth birthday. In his early years Tiger also honed his skills at Recreation Park, Meadowlark Golf Club in Huntington and also Dad Miller Golf Course in Anaheim.
Tiger lives in Jupiter, Florida like many other golfers and his course is Medalist Golf Club along with several other pros. Medalist was founded in 1995 and was originally designed by Greg Norman and Pete Dye. The course featured on the 1996 Shell’s Wonderful World of Golf match between Greg Norman and Nick Price –.
Eventually Tiger attended Stanford University and therefore would likely have played the Stanford University Golf Course. It opened in 1930 and was designed by George C Thomas and Billy Bell Junior. It then got renovated in 2008 and then all the bunkers were rebuilt in 2018.
As Tiger Woods recovers from injuries he sustained in a February car crash, his backyard golf course — at his estimated $40 million mansion in Jupiter Island, Florida — is apparently being gutted.
It’s unclear what Woods has planned for the presumed makeover on his Jupiter Island Practice Facility — the official name for the extraordinary golf setup he designed in 2010, when he moved to the lavish location.
It’s unknown when Woods will return to golf, as the 82-time PGA TOUR winner is recovering from severe lower leg injuries he sustained in a single-car crash in Southern California on Feb. 23. The tee boxes on this short par 4 have a very unique design feature. The Tiger tee is the lowest of the teeing areas and each tee ascends moving forward, which is a feature rarely seen on today’s golf courses. A great example of Tiger and his design team preserving the natural contour of the land. Looking back from behind the 14th green you will find a magnificent view of more than 1,000 yards of contiguous turf down a magnificent pine chute, referred to as “The Green Mile.”
While short, the hole plays uphill and typically into the wind. A very large bunker guards the right side of the fairway, encouraging a tee shot to the left side where players will have an uphill approach shot, with the ball below their feet, into a very tricky green complex unapparent from the fairway.
As the fairway slopes heavily from right-to-left, a well-placed draw will maximize roll. The approach shot may be one of the toughest on the golf course and is a TGR Design marvel.
Established in 2006, the mission of TGR Design is to utilize Tiger’s worldwide experience, his limitless pursuit of excellence and his love of golf to create a unique collection of amazing golf courses around the world. Tiger believes that every project should be special and provide an outstanding golf experience.
