Final Stage begins on Tuesday, December 7 and concludes on Friday, December 10. The field of 79 players will compete in Tampa, Florida at TPC Tampa Bay. The top five finishers will earn status on PGA TOUR Champions in 2022.

7-13. Next year the Champions tour will return to Newport Beach, California, for the Hoag Classic, which was cancelled in 2021 due to COVID-19, as well as welcome a new event in April, the the ClubCorp Classic at Las Colinas Country Club in Irving, Texas.
Players can also qualify for the PGA Tour through a tournament–known as "Q School"–held each fall. The PGA Tour has headquarters in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida.
To be eligible for one of these spots, you have to advance through a pre-qualifier tournament with a field of roughly 150 players. Those who advance then play in the Monday qualifier, where 50 to 125 players compete for those four spots. Those who don't advance, well … good luck next time.

$3,500-$4,500Korn Ferry Tour Q-School finals purse With the Q-school entry fee ranging from $3,500-$4,500, each player who earns a status in the top 40 and ties will at least double their money.
Those who enter the Monday qualifiers are those with no status on the tour sponsoring the event or too far down the tour's priority list to earn direct entry. The players who earn entry into the professional tournament in this manner are also called Monday qualifiers.
Those looking to qualify for the PGA Tour Champions must be at least 50 years of age, or 49 and turning 50 before June 1st of that year. They also must apply online and pay a fee of $3,000. With the application, at least two letters of reference from a Class A PGA Pro or Champions Tour member are required.
Exemptions and qualifying The first 60 places in the field are filled as follows: The top 30 players, not otherwise exempt, who finished in the top 50 of the previous year's PGA Tour Champions money list. Up to 30 players who are in the top 70 of the all-time combined PGA Tour and PGA Tour Champions money list.
