The Dunluce LinksThe Dunluce Links has hosted the Open Championship on two occasions in 1951 and 2019. The 2019 Open which saw Irishman Shane Lowry lift the prestigious Claret Jug, was a huge success attracting golf fans from all over the world.

The Duke of York becomes patron. Three years later in 1895 the name is changed to Royal Portrush Golf Club and patronage passes to HRH The Prince of Wales, later King Edward VII.
Royal Portrush is a very challenging course with elevation changes, doglegs, cross winds and huge runs offs around greens to contend with but it is magnificent!
