Description

Lecture topics include the biochemistry of carbohydrates, lipids and proteins; structure and function of prokaryotic and eukaryotic cells; biochemistry of respiration and photosynthesis; and molecular genetics, regulation of gene expression, and biotechnology. Laboratory stresses techniques of cell and molecular biology and molecular genetics.
