Description

The Company Commander / First Sergeant Pre-Command Course is a 40-hour education program designed to prepare and orient Company Commanders and First Sergeants for duty at Fort Benning. It provides pertinent information and an opportunity to train as a Command Team.

Outcome

A company level Command Team that applies regulatory administrative processes, property accountability, and training management adhering to Army regulations, programs, and policies.

Prerequisites

Be either an officer (1LT or above) or an NCO (E7 or above). Promotable First Lieutenants and Sergeants First Class may attend on a standby basis provided they have one year retainability and the possibility of serving as a Company Commander or First Sergeant while assigned to Fort Benning.

Registration

Registration is conducted by the unit Schools NCO using the Registration Form.
