The Saticoy Club is the premier private country club of The Ventura County. Quietly nestled in the hillsides of Somis, California; The Saticoy Club is considered one of the areas best kept golf secrets. The club has been host to many U.S.G.A. Championship Qualifiers and SCGA Amateur Championships.
Saticoy’s fairly flat layout makes it an excellent choice for beginners, while its small greens and 16 bunkers on seven different holes keeps it challenging for all golfers. Saticoy Regional Golf Course offers golf tournament packages for corporate events and fundraisers.

architect William F. BellFounded in 1921, The Saticoy Club is the first private club in Ventura County and second to none. The golf course was designed by noted architect William F. Bell and offers a spectacular, classic 18-hole Championship Golf Course.
Oasis Ranch is managed by Beverly Hills attorney Ronald Richards, who also manages Chameleon Springs LLC, which acquired the 18-hole Camarillo Springs course near the Conejo Grade last year for $4.3 million.
When Saticoy Country Club, as it was then called, moved to its present location in 1964 , Billy Bell Jr. was called in to design the new layout, which sits on top of a low mountain ridge.
The fairways are near perfect for hitting golf shots of all kinds and at the same time a pleasure to walk. Near perfectly flat on almost every hole. The greens are fast and almost firm. The many false fronts test a golfers distance control.
The Saticoy Club is a wonderful golf course. A good blend of short, medium, and long holes. To my way of thinking, Saticoy is a fine 17 ½ hole golf course. More on that later. A true highlight to this golf course is the condition.
