American University Club Tennis is a student run organization founded in 2008. Now beginning its ninth year, the club has a competitive men's and women's team. The club holds four to five coed practices each week and competes in matches against other local universities during the weekend.

The team rides hunt seat (English) and competes in the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association, where riders have qualified for zone, regional and national level shows. The team trains under the direction of Astrid Dalley through a weekly lesson program and competes in 4-6 shows each semester. New members are welcomed every semester.
AU Women's Club Soccer is a highly competitive, close knit team of American University students. Our primary season is during the fall semester, but we are an active club all year round, practicing and playing regular friendlies throughout the Spring semester as well. Our team is part of the NIRSA Region 1 league, so we play other club soccer teams primarily in the DC-Metro area. We typically play 7-10 games per season. Along with our season games, we have qualified for the NIRSA Club Soccer Regional Tournament held in Delaware the last 2 out of 3 years. We seek to create a free-spirited environment for women to play soccer at a high level, expand their skills, and meet new friends. All are welcome to try out at the beginning of the fall season. The American University Rugby Football Club (AURFC) is the oldest continuously-active club sport at American University . As a group we are dedicated wholeheartedly to the sport of rugby. A member of USA Rugby, the Mid-Atlantic Rugby Football Union and the Potomac Rugby Union, AURFC strives both to introduce new players to the sport and to hone the skills of seasoned ruggers. Competing in Division III collegiate rugby, AURFC has two active Union 15 sides during both semesters and offers informal summer 7s as well. AURFC is as international as the sport of rugby itself and prides itself on lasting alumni connections. The AU Women's Volleyball Club, founded in the fall of 2007, is a student-run organization focused on developing volleyball skills and competing in organized games. Open to undergraduate and graduate students of medium to experienced levels, the club competes year round in tournaments against local collegiate teams like George Washington University, the University of Maryland, Towson University and James Madison University. Each season, we strive to become even more competitive and attend Nationals in the spring.

American University's Club Baseball team was recognized as a club team in 2010. The team competes in the National Club Baseball Association's Division II , District III North with Georgetown, Howard, Maryland, Loyola – Maryland, and Mount St.Mary’s. Whether you were captain of your high school team or just want to throw the ball around, you are welcome to join the team. As a Government and History major, coming to American University in the middle of a US Presidential election year was a great fit for Marjun! About the course : According to Wisconsin, its cross country course features an exterior loop of approximately 2,500 meters and an interior loop of 1,000 meters. Both loops cover the area's rolling hills and valleys, while the outside loop also runs through a section of dense woods, which are aflame with color in the fall. The course opened in 2009, and used the course at Indiana State as inspiration.
Oklahoma State Cross Country Course. About this course: This course is home to one of the oldest cross country races in the country, the Cowboy Jamboree, which began back in 1937. The course is grass, with wood chips and rolling hills.
The course and town has been nicknamed "XC Town USA," following similar suit to Eugene, Oregon, which is known as TrackTown USA. The site sits on a reclaimed coal mine and features a mix of uphill and downhill sections, while being nestled amongst trees.

The late Indiana State cross country coach John McNichols created the vision for the course, which was specifically created for cross country races. The course also has a press box and many areas for spectators to watch the race. A classic... the Lavern Gibson in Terre Haute!
The location was actually donated to Kansas by coach Bob “Timmie’ Timmons. According to the university's website, the course features six ponds and two covered bridges, with black-painted steel silhouettes of athletes such as Jim Ryun, Billy Mills, Johnny Lawson, Wes Santee, Herb Semper and Al Frame.
