Time and Compensation Online instructors spend roughly 9 hours per week in a typical three-credit course. Instructors with a master's degree or higher will be compensated at a rate of $1,175 per credit and instructors with a bachelor's degree will receive $1,075 per credit.

Auditing a Course Students must first register for the class for credit and then contact the Student Records and Registration Office by email at registration@byui.edu to change the course to audit. Tuition for audit classes is assessed on the same basis as for credit classes.
Retake Classes Students are allowed a maximum of four retakes during their BYU-Idaho study, regardless of whether it is a retake of a class with an awarded grade or a “withdrawal." Exceptions are considered on a case-by-case basis. Petitions are available at the Registrar's Office.

You would have a total of 17 GPA points. That would give you a Grade Point Average of 3.4 GPA, which is calculated by taking 17 grade points divided by the number of classes which was 5. In order to make Honor Roll you will need at least a 3.5 GPA.
“F” represents failure in the course. • “W” represents a withdrawal from the class. However, if the class is dropped during the first 22 calendar days (in- cluding weekends and holidays) of a semester, or the first 15 calendar days of a block, no annotation will be made on the permanent academic record.
In fact, a “D” is considered passing in both high school and college, as it's above 60%. While a passing grade may be as low as 60%, you will want to aim higher for many reasons. As a college student, you don't want to aim to barely pass a class.
Definition of an Audit To audit a class means to register for a class without receiving credit or a grade. Audit classes and classes for credit have the same tuition cost. Audited classes do not count toward your number of credits. Audits do count toward the maximum credit hours allowed for a semester or term.
A grade of P (passing) indicates a passing grade. It has no effect on the GPA. The letter grade I (incomplete) is given on a contractual basis with the instructor to students who are unable to complete the work by the end of the semester or term.

After final grades are posted, candidates who have met all graduation requirements will have their degree or certificate posted to their official transcript within 10 business days. Degrees are not posted for graduation candidates with a past due debt, housing debt, or honor hold.
Honors will be posted to qualifying recipients’ official transcripts within 2-3 weeks after final grades post. Those awarded Honors will have them printed on their diploma. For those interested in how Honors are calculated please visit the University catalog.
Official transcripts can be ordered at byui.edu/transcripts for personal use or to be sent to a third party. Before final grades post, select “hold until degree is posted.” When this option is selected, the transcript will be sent when the degree is posted.
