Tutors

We have many tutors for this class who are available to help you in the lab during their scheduled lab hours.

Open Lab

You are encouraged to do your programming assignments in CSE 220, which is in the basement of the CSE building. The lab will be staffed with tutors who are there to help you during scheduled hours. However, if the lab is full, you may work in any of B220-B260.

iClickers (REQUIRED)

Buy an iClicker clicker at the bookstore (not interWrite or HITT brand, and not the smartphone clicker app: genuine iClicker version 2 only). YES, YOU MUST HAVE AN iCLICKER FOR THIS COURSE.

Lectures

You must bring your iClicker to every class. Forgetting your clicker counts as missing a class. Notes for class sections will be available on the course website before and/or after class.

Pre-class Assignments and Reading Quizzes

To prepare you for the interactive class sections, there will be reading assignments to be completed before each class section. Reading quizzes will be done online and are due at 11am the day of the class, regardless of when your section meets.

Review Quizzes

At the beginning of class on Moday there will be a short review quiz on the topics from the week before. These quizzes will help you assess how well you are absorbing the material from class and the homework assignment you are currently working on.
