Applicants who graduated from high school less than a year ago and who have earned fewer than 12 units in letter-graded college coursework (at OCC and/or anywhere else, whether a college or university) must: Have a minimum final high school GPA of 3.25 (grades 9-12, weighted or unweighted)

SFRS also reserves the right to make adjustments resulting from changes in funding or new interpretations of federal and state guidelines and regulations. Students, who fraudulently submitted incorrect data on their financial aid application, may have their application referred to the U.S. Department of Education Office of Inspector General for investigations of suspected fraudulent or criminal activities.

English requirement: A minimum score of 500 (paper-based) or 61 (internet-based) on the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) or an acceptable score on many other standardized tests or completion of an acceptable level in an approved intensive English program.
The Ocean County College Board of Trustees recognizes the importance of earning a degree or certificate at Ocean County College and has established a program to provide a tuition-free summer course as outlined below.
Any full time student (full time is defined as taking 12 credits or more) who successfully completes 30 credits between the Fall and Spring semesters during one academic year will be eligible for one 3 credit Summer course tuition free. All other applicable fees must be paid by the student at time of registration.
