Its consensus group starts this spring and I have got much help from there. I completed coding, demo and interview preparation and they taught me how.

Good way to transition from academia to data science

Insight is part boot camp and part placement service. It consists of 4 weeks of a data science project, 3 weeks of training, and subsequent support for your job search. During the first 3 months, support is limited to jobs at Insight's partner companies; afterwards, fellows are free to apply to any jobs anywhere.

Insight is really great. It's intense and a lot of work for those 7 weeks, but it gives you job opportunities and networking that you wouldn't get elsewhere.
