Bit of background, I started at WGU in 2018 in the NetOps and Security program.
Last week I started a job in my field that doubled my salary, is 100% remote, and has great benefits.
I’m still in shock and can’t feel my feet. This is more than a degree for me. As a kid growing up in the Bronx, college wasn’t an option. It was either run the streets and become a statistic or defy the odds. As a first generation graduate from the ghetto I can finally say I made it.
