The Dean's List of University College honors students who achieve a minimum semester grade point average of 3.5 with a minimum of 15 credit hours completed in graded courses (no CR/NC), and no grades below a “C” and no grades of “NC”.
Online MAX: An online course consists of 100% online instruction. Online courses may require regularly scheduled online meeting times or be offered without any required meetings. Check the Schedule of Classes for any required online meeting times.
Fall 2021 - The Pack is Back UNM is planning on mostly in-person operations and student residency for the 2021-2022 fall academic year, which begins Aug. 23. The University began registration for classes last month for both Summer and Fall 2021 and registration is ongoing.
The UNM Honors Scholar Distinction is intended to provide students with a flexible, high-level Honors experience, utilizing courses taught at the Honors College (HNRS, UHON) and departmental honors course offerings.
Taking 12-15 credits is considered “full-time” in college lingo. That amounts to 4-5 classes, and for young students, that course load is really heavy (let's be honest, it's heavy for MOST students of any age).
Many undergraduates fail a class in college and still go on to graduate. If you're at risk of failing, talk to your professor and meet with an academic advisor. Check your school's policies about retaking courses to remove an F from your transcript. Failing a class is a wake-up call that you may need to make changes.

Designations of cum laude (3.5-3.74), magna cum laude (3.75-3.89), and summa cum laude (3.9-4.0) are awarded to UNM baccalaureate-level graduates who have earned at least 60 hours in residence and the cumulative grade point averages listed in parentheses.
Submit Your Master's Graduation Application Online! Applications for graduation can be filed online. You will need a copy of your transcript in order to complete the application, which can be accessed through Loboweb (my.unm.edu). You can save your application for up to two weeks.
