The massage program is designed to be completed in just 8 ½ months.
Becoming a Massage Therapist in Florida is a 3-step process: 1. Graduate from a massage therapy school approved by the State of Florida Board of Massage Therapy (e.g. Acupuncture and Massage College in Miami, FL) 2. Pass the Massage and Bodywork Licensing Exam (MBLEx) and apply for your Massage License. 3. Get Hired as a Massage Therapist.
Emphasis is placed on the complex nature of the body, the interrelationship of the organs, and the body’s ability to adapt to the environment. Particular emphasis will be placed on the specific needs of the Massage Therapist.
