Acknowledging the summer offer does not commit the student to attending Florida State.

Seminole Pathways Offer

Students selected by the Office of Admissions to participate in this program will be able to join us on the Tallahassee campus after completing one of the four pathways outlined below:

Spring Offer

The student applied for fall or summer term but was offered admission to the spring term, provided that they complete 15 semester hours of credit at another institution, preferably a Florida state college, in the fall.

Defer

Students who apply for our first round of decisions and select a major of Film, Music, Dance, Studio Art, or Theatre may have their application deferred to our rolling round of decisions, pending the result of their audition and/or on-campus interview.

Deny

If a student is denied admission in our first round of decisions, their application will be reconsidered if the student updates their SSAR with mid-year senior grades and submits new SAT/ACT test scores.
