CSUSM will accept online courses (for all requirements) from Regionally Accredited Institutions. International Applicants: Oral Communication, Written Communication and Critical Thinking must be taken in the United States. All students must provide proof of current healthcare insurance to the School of Nursing by the designated deadline.
A graduation requirement for all bachelor degree students at the university is the Language Other Than English Requirement. However this requirement DOES NOT apply to the second bachelor degree students. Since I already have a bachelor ’ s degree, will I be required to complete any other classes aside from nursing courses at CSUSM? Yes.

As of Fall 2021, mandatory semester fees total $840.00 per Fall & Spring semester ($135.00 for Summer). Please note that your total fee costs will vary depending upon the number of semesters you are enrolled.
Undergraduates may take up to 17 units, but students will be charged $225 per additional unit over 12. For graduate-level courses, full-time status is 9 units. Students will be charged $225 per additional unit over 9.

The Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing is a fast-paced, 24-month additional bachelor’s degree program designed for those who hold a degree outside of nursing and have not completed any LVN or RN coursework. This program includes approximately 74 semester units of study in both didactic and clinical coursework.
