Chancellor's Scholars are required to choose four courses and one interdisciplinary seminar from a listing of CHP offerings that best fit their personal interests, as well as their college and departmental curricular requirements.
For fall and spring terms, as long as you remain enrolled in at least 12 credit hours, you can drop a full-term course without academic penalty until the end of the eighth week of the term. Part-term courses and summer courses may be dropped without academic penalty until the midpoint of the course.
When they become available, you can access your time ticket in Student Self-Service. From the Main Menu, choose Registration & Records, then Enhanced Registration, then Prepare for Registration OR Classic Registration then Registration Eligibility.
The James Scholar Program is a University-wide program established to encourage undergraduate research, independent study and the opportunity to work with renowned faculty. In the College of Education, the James Scholar Program provides a rewarding educational experience for students with exceptional academic skills.

Student Self-Service is the University system to register for courses. When you do so, you agree to pay tuition and fees to the University according to the payment policies and schedules adopted by the Board of Trustees. If you wish to cancel your registration and thus avoid payment of tuition and fee charges, you must do so by 11:59 p.m.

Class Restriction. The class is being held for students at a particular class standing (i.e., freshmen, sophomore, junior, or senior). Try to add another section of the class. Check the class schedule to see if the department has posted when the restriction will be lifted.
Many faculty offer a CS 498 Special Topics in CS course, which tend to be small classes, focused on a topic close to a faculty member's heart, and thus provide an excellent opportunity for a letter of recommendation and a future project or thesis . And you can use them to satisfy your 400-level CS elective requirements. Because the addresses entered into Student Self-Service by the students are the only addresses that the University has for students, they need to be kept up to date. Having out-of-date or missing addresses can delay mailing of important pieces of mail. Students are required to maintain a current set of addresses.
About 2 weeks prior to the start of registration, your time ticket will be made available online at Student Self-Service by selecting “registration eligibility” from the registration menu. That webpage will provide information about holds on your record and your time ticket.

You may be attempting to register before Student Self-Service is ready to accept transactions for the term, but you may still view classes offered for the term. If Student Self-Service is accepting transactions, then it is likely that you have not been authorized to enroll for this term.
The course is restricted to certain students, and you are not one of those students. There are many types of restrictions (Department, Major/Minor, Field of Study, Program, Level, etc). If you receive one of these errors, see the registration info page for the current term for more information on restrictions placed on statistics courses. If a restriction is temporary and will be removed, we will post there. The only way to know when a restriction has been removed is to check Enterprise Enhanced Registration regularly.
Course Explorer can be set to notify you of section status changes. You can check for space in cross-listed sections, which are the exact same course. Many STAT courses are cross-listed, and may have space still open in cross-listed sections. For example, STAT 400 is cross-listed with MATH 463.
