Although programs vary depending on the school, BS degrees typically have more coursework in subjects such as science, math, and technology, while BA degrees tend to focus more heavily on the arts, humanities, and social sciences.
Though many people do take 18 credits in a semester, it is your individual experience and no one else's. An 18-credit semester may be worth losing some sleep over — but it's not worth losing your sanity. Pay attention to warning signs that you're doing too much and stop yourself short before it worsens.
One semester credit hour is defined as a weekly minimum of 1 hour in class (or other required educational meetings like labs, studios, etc.) plus 2 hours of out-of-class work. Formally, therefore, a 4-credit course should require 4 classroom hours and 8 hours of out-of-class hours each week in a fifteen week term.
Each credit hour corresponds to a minimum of 3 hours of student engagement per week for a traditional 14-week course or 6 hours per week for a 7-week course. This time may be spent on discussions, readings and lectures, study and research, and assignments.
Credit Limits Undergraduate students may not register for more than 8 credits in either Term I or Term II. Students may not register for more than 16 credits during the combined terms of the entire Summer Session. Graduate Students are limited to a small number of overall credits.

I was thinking about purchasing an iPad air along with an apple pencil to take notes and general organization for my courses, Has anyone done this and regretted it? or was it the best choice you made?
Transferring to Bing this fall and would love to explore local restaurants and shops in the Binghamton area. Please give your best recommendations!!
So last semester I was talking to a friend who lived in my Fall 21 suite. Apparently it’s completely infested with bugs. Is this normal for the ground floor suites ?An exterminator came 3 times and the situation did not improve.
I ordered something to my Bing mail box expecting it to arrive after I arrived on campus but it arrived early. Will I be able to pick it up on move-in day? or is the mail room not open yet for the semester?
I dont drive yet and just wanted to know how the bus system works on campus. I havent seen the binghamton campus and will be exploring everything when i move in. Just wanted to get a head start and at least know how the busses work. Thanks !

Exam times will be scheduled by the final exam scheduling program to reduce the number of exam conflicts for students. Standard exam times are as follows: Once a course has been scheduled a final exam time, any request to change the day/time requires approval from the department chair and dean’s office.
