Years after Provo scraped three holes to the west off the East Bay Golf Course to make way for a medical school, the facelift is complete, including a name change to Timpanogos Golf Club announced in a ceremony Wednesday at the new No. 15 par-3 island green.
Timpanogos Golf Club Built in 1986 on the original Provo Landfill and created as a catch basin for the 100 year floods, the East Bay Golf Course serves the city of Provo in many capacities. The original Timpanogos Golf Club was located less than 100 yards to the north of the existing clubhouse from 1923 to 1985.
