Downriver is one of three public disc golf courses in Spokane. You can barely see the faded paint on some of the trees. It's a faint reminder of what the Downriver Disc Golf Course used to be — a handful of baskets made from 5-gallon soy sauce buckets left over from Gordy Crafts' restaurant.

It has changed significantly over the last 100 years. The River was initially built as a nine hole venue and was known initially as the "Municipal Golf Links at Downriver." The first clubhouse stood close to where the maintenance building is now located.

Down River golf course is positioned along the mountains in South Central PA. This family owned 18-hole course is located just 8 miles from the PA turnpike. The course surrounded by the Raystown Branch of the Juniata River has been the nesting place for our very own national bird the Bald Eagle.
