One of them is an assigned number which goes from 811 to 842 sequentially and are located on the right side of course names. The other one is the usual course number/letter like "1A" for General Chemistry 1a.

The only reason I ask this, is because without the prefix, some of my courses are ambiguous as to what category they are in, so the prefix would help.
PSA: Include letters and numbers for "course number" on amcas/aacomas. Hello, May be obvious to you all but it wasn't to me. Make sure to include the letters preceding the course number in the course number field of your application. IE) BIOL 101 not just 101.
