We ended up driving up to Motor Vehicle to get my permit. Which you need documents for. Probably like a high school ID and a birth certificate.
I have not done it myself but I would imagine you don't need to take anything other than your provisional, just take your self and dress in something comfy, if there is a test then there is a test, best nto to worry about it
