Overall training will take between 35 and 40 hours. If you’re capable and motivated, you can do it in less time, and we work closely with each trainee to monitor your progress and ensure you’re acquiring the knowledge and skills you need to be a top-notch school bus driver.
You will learn the theories and rules of safe bus operation, as well as what to expect when interacting with children of all ages. You will also follow 10-20 hours of hands-on, in-bus training, as you get comfortable driving a bus. Rohrer is a PennDOT certified training and testing facility.
