The driving course will take no more than 20 minutes and shall be administered by a training division administrator. Category two will be a emergency vehicle driver training course, which will test your skills in tactical maneuvers and emergency evasion techniques. In addition we will test your defensive driving skills and reaction times.

We are excited to announce that we have completely redesigned our physical agility test for Detention Cadet applicants and our Detention Academy to reflect more accurately job specific duties. This test was created in partnership with YMCA of Greater San Antonio and Generations Federal Credit Union .
Once the proctor tells you to begin you will first sprint 200 meters (this will be the only part of the exam you can run). After completing the 200m sprint the applicant will then drag a sled for another 50m (sled drag must be pulled with two hands on the straps and applicant MUST back pedal).
The applicant will not start until the proctor says "Begin". The applicant will have a total of 2 minutes to complete the reps needed to complete the exercise. If the applicant cannot complete the total number of reps the applicant will then be disqualified to continue on to the next station.
