Provider Course: 16-hour course for EMTs, paramedics, nurses, physician assistants, physicians and other prehospital providers. The PHTLS credential is good for 4 years and offers 16 hours for continuing education credit. Students are expected to participate in lecture, learning stations, review stations and skills testing scenarios.
