At the end of the session, participants will review key reporting and pacing tools available in Edgenuity that can help teachers ensure students are making progress and mastering content. Participants will also plan for roll-out of curriculum maps to the district if individual teachers are not responsible for their own maps (i.e., if district leadership has centralized this task).
During this session, the group will review a number of potential blended learning models, including rotation, flex, and hybrid. The Edgenuity facilitator will lead an interactive discussion in which participants will take on questions of pacing, academic leveling, balance of online work and face-to-face instruction, and roles of the software, the teacher, and the student.
Participants will explore Edgenuity’ s digital curriculum and other web-based resources for supplemental instruction. This part of the session is optional and can be reduced or eliminated if participants already have a high degree of familiarity with Edgenuity courseware and other digital resources.
