The expansive, multi-level patio has sweeping views of the Sandia Mountains and overlooks the 19th green and lake (the course is 18+9, so holes are actually numbered 1-27). The newly-remodeled, stylish clubhouse is simultaneously relaxed and refined.
I was skeptical when I read some of the recent reviews....However, the golf course is in fantastic shape, the food was top notch gourmet and the level of service was something I never experienced in New Mexico before. Kudos to the new owners for elevating an already great course. For what you get, the price is worth every penny.
You used to play 3 rounds in three days for $71.00, but again, no more. Oh, almost forgot, ordered 3 draft Ultra beers, ticket was $25.50. I have been playing Paako each and every year since they opened (2000). Now they have drove me away. Time to look at Rainmaker in Ruidoso, which has a similar layout as Paako.
