The Expedition zipline tour allows guests to spend two hours exploring the Peak 7 Ore Bucket area of Breckenridge Ski Resort by air; navigating over a mile on eight zip lines between 10 towers and a 200-foot long aerial bridge walk with stunning views of Summit County.

All Epic Discovery Parking is located in the North Gondola Lot. This lot is now operated by Breck Park. You can park here and pay with a credit card using either an onsite kiosk or their smartphone app. There is no parking located at the Peak 8 base area, and all parking is in town. Access Epic Discovery by riding the gondola or bus up to Peak 8.

At 9,000 feet, exposure to the sun is 40% greater than it is at sea level. We recommend bringing along sun protection, including sunscreen, hats and sunglasses, as well as a reusable water bottle. Afternoon thunderstorms are common in the mountains and may cause interruptions and delays in summer activities and lift operations.
The Breckenridge Peak 8 Fun Park has been improved and expanded to become Epic Discovery. All the Breckenridge Peak 8 Fun Park activities you loved are still located at the base of Peak 8 which is now called Peak 8 Base Camp. You can access Peak 8 Base Camp by riding the BreckConnect gondola from town up to the base of Peak 8.
Peak 8 Base Camp is the foundation of your Breckenridge summer bucket list. It’s where the action begins and families come together. Hit the bungee trampoline, mine shaft maze and bounce house, get the little ones into Gold Rush mode with gemstone panning, and let the kids go big on the Lil’ Climber Ropes Course and Little Flyer Zipline.
Under its new 1% For The Forest program, Vail Resorts will contribute one percent of all summer lift ticket and activity revenue to The Nature Conservancy. The non-profit is dedicated to forest restoration projects.
The Epic Discovery Alpine Camp opened on Peak 8 in July. Developed in partnership with the United States Forest Service and the Nature Conservancy, Epic Discovery at Breckenridge is the newest of three summer adventure experiences available at Breckenridge, Vail and Heavenly.
