Students are allowed to use scores of 3, 4, or 5 on Advanced Placement (AP) exams for college credit. These courses may be comparable to lower division courses and therefore can be used to satisfy major requirements, university writing requirements, and the 180 minimum unit requirement to obtain a Bachelor’s degree.
