This course is a must play for anyone staying at Mauna Kea or Hapuna. The $165 price tag is a little steep, but I was able to play the sister Hapuna Beach Course for $65 in the afternoon, a combination worth $230. The pictures of the course show what a challenge and joy it was.

Sunset Valley Golf Course is consistently ranked as one of the best public courses in New Jersey. It is one of four golf courses in the Morris County Parks system and it's considered the toughest. Located in Pompton Plains, the course is nestled in a wooded valley.
The course is very well maintained, and friendly staff. Excellent landscape. This in my opinion is a must-go if you can get a good deal.
