The TCS New York City Marathon course runs 26.2 miles through the five boroughs of NYC. Mile markers are posted at every mile. Before mile 8, markers are color-coded to correspond to your start color.
Gatorade® Endurance Formula™ Lemon-Lime Flavor will be available at official fluid stations every mile from mile 3 to mile 25, except at miles 5, 7, and 9. Fluids will be dispensed in recyclable cups. There will be tables on both sides of the course. To avoid the bottleneck at the first table, get a cup from a later table.
5,500 to 7,500 individuals participate in the race annually. It is the largest marathon in South Carolina and was named one of the 'Top Ten Winter Marathons' by USA Today. The marathon course, which the half marathon follows for the first 12.1 miles, has a maximum elevation of 19.98 ft and a total ascent of 110.02 ft.

The marathon starts at 7AM. Runners will head south down Kings Highway through The Market Common and then all the way up Ocean Boulevard to the Dunes section of Myrtle Beach. Enjoy views of the Myrtle Beach SkyWheel and Boardwalk, beachfront hotels and Thunderbolt Park at The Market Common along your race course.

Adam Cordell claimed victory with a time of 02:30:45. Oliver Enrique Landeo Carranza earned runner-up honours with a time of 02:31:12. Rounding out the top three was Migule Angel Cifuentes with a time of 02:34:38.
Expect to spend 12 to 14 weeks training if you've never run a half-marathon and you're currently running under 10 miles each week. Plan on running at least three times a week at first and at least four times a week as your training progresses.

The TCS New York City Marathon course is completely closed to vehicular traffic during the race; see the schedule of bridge and road closures. Sweep buses follow the marathon route at a 6 1/2-hour marathon pace (about 15 minutes/mile) after the final wave start.
The legendary Boston Marathon course starts in Hopkinton, MA and ends on Boylston Street in Boston, MA. See below for the course map and a full list of amenities along the course. No portion of the Boston Marathon course map may be reproduced. See Course Amenities below.
Runners unable to finish the race may stop for assistance and direction at one of the 26 medical stations along the course.

The starting line for the 10 km and 5 km events is located on Sherbrooke Street East, just north of the Olympic Stadium. The 1 km will start at the Maisonneuve Park Chalet. All starts will be in waves and participants will be informed of their wave and start time a few days before the race.
Circling Jean-Drapeau Park, the circuit Gilles-Villeneuve is named after the famous Quebec driver who won the first Montreal Grand Prix in 1978. The track hosts the Formula 1 Canadian Grand Prix every year as well as thousands of cycling and in-line skating enthusiasts. Courses: Marathon and Half Marathon.
