Golf Course Review by: Billy Satterfield. Rankings: 5th The Takeaway: Cassique is the second best track on Kiawah Island behind the Ocean course but ahead of the River course. The undulations and style, particularly through the front nine, gives Cassique a more unique feel and enjoyable features to navigate your ball through.

Cassique Course Top www.kiawahislandclub.com. Cassique Clubhouse Reminiscent of a 19th-century English country manor, the Cassique Clubhouse offers commanding views of the golf course and the surrounding tidelands of the Kiawah River. Exceptional offerings, both sporting and social, have earned the venue status as centerpiece to the Cassique community.
Cassique, the Club's second private golf course, recalls the classic links courses of Ireland and Scotland. The landscape it traverses, however, is uniquely its own. Hall-Of-Famer Tom Watson designed the par 72, 6,960-yard layout across rolling green meadows and lush marsh savannas.

Signature Hole: 5th Hole – 150 Yard Par 3 – From the traditional Pulpit routing, the 5th hole plays as a short and attractive downhill one-shotter that should breed confidence in the golfer. Views across the grassland and into the distant trees offer a tranquil setting as far as the eyes can see. A collection of bunkers surround the green thus requiring players to be spot on with their tee shot which isn't asking too much on a hole of this length. With the alternate routings/tees available and the attractive views, the 5th hole becomes one of Cassique's most memorable offerings.
