The Pocono Mountain Run for the Red Marathon happens to be one of the fastest marathon courses in the country. The course begins at roughly 1946 feet above sea level—the highest point on the 26.2-mile route. Grandma's Marathon starts at 740 feet elevation and ends at 610 feet. There are no big hills along the route, but plenty of gradual, rolling hill sections. Lemon Drop Hill at mile 22 is as hilly as the course gets, and it is quite manageable. Grandma's is often advertised as a fast, rolling flat course.Jul 14, 2021
All qualifying times are subject to review and verification. The minimum age requirement for the Boston Marathon is 18 years of age on race day. Though the B.A.A. will email registrants upon the completion of their form, runners are not officially entered into the race until their qualifying time is verified.

So, for a man, anything under 4 hours could be considered a good marathon time, putting you in the top 43% of runners. For women, a time under 4 hours and 30 minutes would similarly be very good.
