Pay Attention to the Big Three When it comes to your club's golf experience, offer members and guests a well-maintained, interesting, and fair golf course. It doesn't have to be extremely difficult, but it should keep your members sufficiently challenged. Go for selection and quality with your dining offerings.May 3, 2017
In our fittings, the driver is usually the most difficult club to fit, mostly because it is the longest and lightest club in the bag. If you don't get the shaft weight, length, flex and swing weight right, shots will be inconsistent at best. This goes for both driver and fairway woods.Jun 6, 2018

Millennials aren't as interested in joining country clubs as their baby-boomer parents were. The "brokest generation" can't afford the membership dues, doesn't particularly enjoy playing golf, and isn't into the stuffy and nondiverse reputation of traditional country clubs, Kelsey Lawrence reported for CityLab.Oct 14, 2019
"Ordinarily speaking, the average club can accommodate somewhere between 300 and 400 members, depending on the percentage of active golfers in the club. "The question of finance attaches to this subject, and in many cases is an inseparable one.
Country clubs are privately owned establishments typically with membership limits and admittance through invitation or sponsorship. These private organizations customarily offer a variety of sports and recreational activities along with dining and entertainment facilities.
Has anyone played Cherokee lately? What do you think? I'm debating membership and I'm curious as to what everyone thinks about how it stacks up against the other elite clubs in Atlanta? Can I go wrong with joining? I live 6 miles from the country club, so I feel like it's the best option for me.
I think if you can afford it, it is best club to join. Country club/dining club is awesome and golf courses are fantastic. Only golf course that is better than Cherokee is Peachtree
Thats great to hear "Major Winner." I know it's very nice, but I just want to make the best decision because it's a big investment. I've also looked at Dunwoody CC, which I thought was nice and is the same distance for me as Cherokee. I've also looked at Atlanta National, but ultimately I think it's too far for me (30+ min drive).
I've always heard great things about it, but I've never had a chance to play there.
Peachtree is super exclusive so it is out of reach. my thinking of Cherokee being best - golf courses are superb. two 18s and caddies if you need them - love the lay out and condition. worth investing if you take clients to impress. - their dinning club is great with really impressive member list
Like anything depends what your priorities are. I live nearby and have been there as a guest. Courses are very good and the practice facility is top notch. Yes the caddies are great. If you want/need the dining and country club environment than it is hard to beat.
Go with Cherokee... Social scene is bigger... For pure golf Settindown is best... But 2 course options and close proximity would make it no brainier... Cherokee
My co workers are funny, we have a very mixed race environment. I am the barber and help out at times in the locker room. The members are great people.
Thank you for your feedback! We do know how to have fun at work while making members happy. Keep up the great work and we look forward to many more great memories created for our members in years to come.
